Of course, I don't feed at the arts grants trough, so I'm relatively unknown. Media pundits are largely semi-literates about poetry, so they rely on state approved (grant-fed) poets for any comments. State-funded poets are the only bona-fide poets in Canada. Those who do not apply for grants are referred to as "self-described" poets.

Dear Lemmings: imagine this: there are UNOFFICIAL poets in Canada.
